Originally a four piece, the band became a trio after the departure of lead guitarist and good friend Jim Gilmore. The resulting reconfiguration led to a new sound and The Hoakers mark 2 was born. The band members, Donal McCann on drums \u0026amp;amp; vocals, Petesy Burns on bass \u0026amp;amp; vocals and Marty Lenane on guitar \u0026amp;amp; vocals draw from their many and varied influences to produce a driving sound that has been likened to a fusion of the many different styles of punk North of the ‘border’. To date the band has 2 releases. The first track is Life goes on which is on the Spit Records label compilation 21st Century Orbital Debris.
